This Canon F1, original all-mechanical model, is one I bought back in my accumulation days and now needs a new home.
It has, you can see, that lovely "I'm a serious-professional-photographer" brassing look some folks actually try to fake, but this is real -- the camera was purchased from a working newspaper photographer.
It would benefit from a good service -- it works at all speeds, and the slow speeds and self-timer sound correct, but at the top two speeds the shutter is capping. So either get it serviced or just don't shoot at 1/1000th or higher.
I have no idea about the meter. I don't have the proper battery so have never tried it.
There's a dent on top of the prism. The former user was a working newspaper shooter.
It works smoothly. All mechanics seems sound. The shutter is solid -- titanium foil will do that -- and it is overall a really nice machine to handle and use.
I'm including two lenses -- an FD 50mm f1.8 and an FD 28mm f2.8. Both are clear and clean, near mint.
So, $250 for the whole kit, which includes shipping via USPS medium priority mail flat rate box anywhere the U.S. Postal Service delivers. This price recognizes that it could use a service, but with the two lenses makes a nice kit for use as-is. No overseas sales, sorry.
I happily take paypal, contact me for payment information. As always, happy to answer questions.
Thanks,
