I'm considering having my Polaroid 110B modified to take a Graflok back by Option 8. I ralize the cost is significant and I am looking for others that have used his service to see if it is worth the cost.

Since it takes type 40 film you can just put a sheet of 4x5 film in and use it as a one shot camera, that’s what I do with my 800. You waste a little film but you get the nice rounded corners. Try that first and see if you want to make the investment.

Hi BAC1967: I'll give it a try. There is an inner part that acts like a cover that goes over where the film would be. Does it scratch the film or do I need to worry about it. Did you experience any light leaks when shooting and did you have to tape the sheet of film down to keep it flat ?.

You open both flaps and place the film in the proper taking spot. Feel to make sure the film is centered over the opening side to side then carefully close the inner most flap followed by the outer flap. I haven't had any light leaks or scratches. The pressure plate should hold the film in place, just try not to bounce it around too much. You will get an image that is 3"X4" rather than 4"X5". I think if you went with the mod they open it up to get closer to 4"X5".

I put a cheat sheet on the back of my camera for the EV values:

EV 10 = f/8.8 at 1/12
EV 11 = f/8.8 at 1/25
EV 12 = f/8.8 at 1/50
EV 13 = f/8.8 at 1/100
EV 14 = f/12.5 at 1/100
EV 15 = f/17.5 at 1/100
EV 16 = f/25 at 1/100
EV 17 = f/35 at 1/100

Hi BAC1967: thanks for the info and the exposure cheat sheet. I would guess that different film speeds would require different EV,f stop and shutter speed values ?.
