A grandfather to be proud of, a grandfather to learn from.
A journey back in time allso.

I started in photography at that time (1959/1960).
Thanks for sharing.

Not so much an opinion as a lesson your grandfather just taught me.

HAVE SOME FRICKIN FUN ALREADY!

Because it looks like he loved to have fun with his film. A lesson we could all learn or re-learn as the case may be.
Thank you very much for sharing that with us.

Now that's some stuff I'll have to try. I've been looking to work on innovative enlarging techniques like the ones used here, like the one when he was playling himself in a game of chess.

The coolest technique I saw involved printing a face and after repositioning the negative burning a single eye into the forehead.

Wonderful work. I most enjoyed the shot with the coins. Seeing the old Imperial coinage really took me back!

Love your grandfather's imagination and sense of humour.

Very interesting. I assume that this was a case of cutting and pasting and photographing the montage?

I am not sure which ones you mean - all of the ones that show more than one instance of my grandfather have been done with multiple exposures on the same negative, I think.
