I may have the opportunity to pick one of these up for $125. Should I pass or pick it up. Right now I am using a flatbed and I am almost sure that this will give me better results. I'm just looking to print up to 8x10. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
D.

Hey Derek -

I'll qualify my opinion/experience right now - I'm a scanning NEWB!!!

Ok, so now that thats outta the way, i'd say absolutely - buy it right now - like grab your cell, call 'em and buy it immediately. If for no other reason than you can re-sell it for 2x that maybe more.

Better yet, just tell me where to buy it from, you don't want any old, obsolete junk like that so i'll buy it so you don't have to feel bad.... ;-D

Incidently, i have that scanners predecessor, the Minolta DiMage Scan Dual III. The software is less than great, but it's workable and the scanner itself is great.
