I found an extraordinarily motivated seller for Koni Omega kit on a local buy sell page and of course couldn't resist. I've actually had one of these before and didn't like the ergonomics or the focus accuracy but I reviewed some of my old negatives last night and they were great. I think I had unfairly condemned them a few years ago due to bad scans. And this is the cheapest 6x7 camera... So now I have a kit with a KO 100, a 90mm, a 60mm and best of all, the mythical 135mm. All the lenses have a little haze, mostly behind the front element. I've done a repair on a 90mm before but I accessed the shutter through the back. Does anyone know how to get the front of the lenses open? There are no notches for spanners.

Did you remove the retractable lens hood and the series filter retaining ring? I removed the series retaining ring in order to use the 49mm threads for screw-on filters. If it's tight, you can remove the series ring without damaging the lens element using something like a large rubber stopper pushed against it for friction. Perhaps when that ring is removed or when the lens hood is removed it reveals spanner notches.

By the way, I'm finding some of my handheld shots with the 90mm lens are unsharp at 1/125s due to camera shake. I think it's because the shutter release takes an inordinate amount of pressure to depress, and has a very long stroke, so my hand shakes.
