Does anyone know how to open the auxilliary shutter on a 503CX with the back removed?

I'm hesitant of cocking the body and using the shutter release button for fear of jamming something....

I want to look into the body from the back to check the condition of the light seals. I occasionaly get a strange vertical squiggly line of minus density on my negs (shows as a fuzzy dark squiggly line on the print) that looks like the shadow of something dangling down in front of the film. Very strange. I also have been occasionally getting strange uniform fogging on certain frames.

You can safely cock the body and use the shutter release. Make sure to re-cock before attaching a cocked lens. You also can safely release the mirror. I do these things all the time to dust out my CX body.
