Opening 3F Files in Photoshop CC 2018

Hello,

I'm curious to know if anyone has experienced a recent problem opening 3F files in photoshop?

Up until about 2 weeks ago I was able to open all of my 3F Files in photoshop going to file -> open -> select the appropriate file -> options -> file type is 3f File -> open file

This of course required the imacon 3f plugin file to be installed in the plug in folder.

I can no longer use this process to open 3f files in photoshop. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone have a work around?

I've got the same issue in PS 2018 (19.1.1) on MacOS Sierra (10.12.6). The same plugin works fine in PS 2017.

The only solution, I've come to so far, is to use PS 2017 to open 3f files, but this is not applicable in the long run. I've posted this issue on a Facebook forum, maybe some one there can helt. I'll come back with the results.

I'm not sure whether it is Adobe or Hasselblad, who needs to fix it.

I've got an update from Hasselblad Support, they can reproduce the issue and they have reported it to Adobe.

FYI: A user on the "Imacon Scanners" Yahoo group (mristuccia) have found this workaround which makes it possible to open the 3f file:

5, Now you should have:
Enable: All Readable Documents
Format: Imacon 3f
6. Click on "All Readable Documents" and JUST RE-SELECT it from the option list, or select another option and then re-select "All Readable Documents".
