I accidentally shot a whole roll of Tmax p3200 at 800 (forgot to change the ISO on the camera). I've never pulled film before. Yikes...how do I develop it?

No fear Tmax3200 has a "real" speed a little over ISO 800 (~ ISO 950 - ISO 1200 New Version Tmax 3200) so it is "classified" at ISO 3200 what results a push development classified AS a "normal" development
You may easily compensate via development (look at published time tables)

with regards

PS : BTW your Film will have BETTER characteristics with real exposure at ISO800 but don't tell to others that Trendland stated this:whistling:

Some more evidence in those times how versatile Xtol is. Kodak gives times for 25000 for Xtol but not other Kodak developers

That's perfect! Thank you for the link. The cursory googling I did, didn't yield this. And yes, I will be developing it myself - so this is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much.

12 mins in stock D-76/ ID-11 at 20c on TMZ rated at 800 gives a really versatile negative in my experience.

That may be a mistake in documents. Sure one can be glad if ISO6400 (with aceptable characteristics) is reached. That would mean ISO 12800 you perhaps may reach
with special development but is it then nice (from the quality).?
And to come to ISO 25600/25000 is for sure no good quality (just to me).
We should not forget that we are not discussing "real" ISO if we are talking about anything above
ISO 1600 - ISO 2000 with Film.....!

It looks best at EI 800, anyway... Post 'em when you're done! Would like to see them. I haven't shot the new stuff... only the old stuff, and that was several years ago, in Xtol.

Let me figure out how to post some p3200. I shot a roll in January and really liked it.

These look fine. The second one especially in the dark. As Andrew says 800 is fine. I only ever had a problem once with different films in the same tank. After 25 pages of posts from members trying to help. I discovered it was my own fault. The films were in fact teenage brother and sister and being in the same confined space for 10 mins created a real problem :D

Avoid this and you are good to go.

The problem with my little joke was that it was meant for the thread developing different films together that require the same time. It was abruzzi's thread. This happened because I left my post after my comment on these pics which are good and when I came back to finish it I had the other thread in mind.

So sorry for leaving my post and my sense of the "here and now" Now that could be an obituary for a famous politician that might "ring bells" with " Our Man on the West Coast", now it is close to Pina Colada hour there:D

I'd say develop normally.the 'overexposure' won't hurt it much and you'll get great shadow detail!

:D I laughed anyway!:laugh: (even though it was out of place, apparently). It was spot on with a current situation at our house!

I do that when I get bombarded with text messages. The pinnacle of 150 years of progress. We can talk to people anywhere on the planet at the touch of a button. Instead we "type" with one finger on a dinky "typewriter" :D
