Basically it's raining so much outside I cant go out and shoot, but I've got a roll of BW film to develop. Only issue is that I've only got 20ml of DD-X developer.
I know you can do DD-X at 1+9 (so 50ml + 450ml) @ 14:30min. So would running a mix at what basically would be 1+24ml and almost double time be totally worthless??
Just as an aside really which may be largely irrelevant if you were about to develop 120 which needs more dev but given the expense of DDX it might be worth your while to get a Durst or Jobo tank. Only 240/250 needed for Jobo and Durst respectively for 35mm. If you have a Jobo processor then this drops to 140mls for 35mm and 240 for 120 film.
Depending on your dev throughput that could be quite a saving after as little as a year. With the increase in the price of DDX in the last 12-18 months I really ought to do this myself instead of persisting with hand inversion with a Jobo tank.
