Are any of you who are successful with online print sales able to track the demographics of your buyers? Who are the people that buy your prints?
I'm working on my site and, as weird as it seems to me, I'm going to give it a shot. My photographs are pretty straight forward and I don't have high expectations at all. I mostly want to just celebrate my brand of analog photography for anyone that is interested in looking. But if I can make a buck along the way, that would be great.
So in my thoughts on it all, I am constantly wandering how many prints some people are actually selling and who the buyers are. This question is especially for others like me who have a day job and who engage in this passion for mostly pleasure, but who would also love for it to help pay for itself to the degree that it can.
