How long does it take for the 2.0 versions of film to develop (color and black and white). Is it under 5 minutes to see the beginning of the image?

Thank yoU!

It's been about a year since I used Impossible film (will use it again in about a week), but yes, you should see something in less than 5 minutes. It will take a while to fully develop. This is a bit annoying, though, when you are trying to get your exposure right - you have to wait some time before it is done enough to see if you need to play with the lighten/darken control.

I know it's pricey, but consider your first couple packs as experiments. Also, this stuff doesn't keep as well as the old Polaroid film, so shoot it within a few months of getting it. Otherwise, the chemicals may not spread evenly or completely.

Yes, it is much faster. I haven't timed it but they start showing quite quickly. Fast enough that people I've met out on the streets have the patience to wait and see it show up when I give them the shot. The older stocks were borderline in this regard.

BW 2.0 is fantastic. Within seconds you have emergence of an image, 5 mins and it's almost completely done (now with mid 20ºC temps here).

Color just rolled into 3.0 with the new black and color coded packaging (Red SX70, Blue 600, Green Spectra & Yellow i1). Have a pack in the cellar yet to try, but eager to see the results having followed the beta postings.
I've shot the 2.0 (produced January 2016) and it was rather slow. Truzi's experience is more or less on the line of what I found. 5 min for the emergence and slow development.
