I have always found problem using main stream application printing modules while a simple app like Epson Easy Photo Print makes a right output.
Has anyone ever used this app?

My setup:
- Nikon D-600 and Fujifilm X-E1, raw file, Adobe1998 color space
- Epson Stylus Photo R3000, non OEM and OEM inks Ultrachrome K3 w/vivid magenta, PK glossy ink only
- X-rite monitor calibration with I1Profiler or Argyll, display set to 6500K, accurately dimmed to 80cd/m and adjusted to gamma=2.4 to help in color gamut evaluation
- Win7 Ultimate 64b sp1
- Application tested with bad results includes all Adobe, Nikon Capture, QImage Ultimate, Silkypix, Gimp - generally all app that uses Epson driver v6.71/6.75, no matter if app or printer driver is managing colors, ink brand, paper brand and further editing with pre-distortion to compensate the output results
- Application successful: Epson Easy Photo Print, the only app that does not use Epson printer driver. It prints with same lineup, paper, ink, pictures VERY good.
- Other Software combination with better results than above mentioned app's but outclassed by EEPP includes Epson print plugins for PS LR Capture, Silkypix

Failure description:
- Print picture is dark, blacks and shadows grained, green/cyan cast in shadows, reds are weak besides using the vivid magenta inks. The overall perception is a low quality print. Grain in shadow area improves if printing at max printer res but it is not enough, a flame red is still an orange/baton color on printout.
- Print output gamut is locked down, more or less as printing on laser paper, regardless of glossy paper brand/size.
- Using the Epson Print Plugin for LR, PS, Capture, Silkypix the results are slightly better however not like using EEPP, which is very good for me now.

Anyone ever used Epson Easy Photo Print? Comparing print results with mainstream app above mentioned has any positive evaluation?
