Ondu has successfully reached funding for their newest iteration of their pinhole cameras- the mkiii. Hit their target in under a day. Looks like they've built in a lot of refinements and improvements including a better shutter mechanism, magnet secured filter attachments (for all but the 35mm only cameras), and multiple pinholes per camera for perspective control. Looks like a competitor for the zero image cameras now. They were always nice looking cameras but this newest one in my humble opinion looks the best so far. All parts now are wood or cnc turned metal. I assume they're using the same pinholes as before. If you're interested here's the link:

I've backed the campaign and chose a 6x12 Multiformat. I have the 6x12 Mk. II Ondu, which was great, but the improvements of the Mk. III are worth an upgrade.

I backed their basic 35mm camera this campaign. I wanted something I could easily take backpacking. The multiformat looks great though. Did you go for their "rise" model? I figure the 35mm will complement my 4x5 pinhole nicely and I wanted 35mm because I want the lab to be able to both process and scan my negatives for me. I hate scanning....

No, I did't get the RISE version. I was not sure about the effects those models have on the outcome and I didn't want to spend that much money. Originally I wanted to buy a 35mm camera in addition to my 6x12. But with the new 6x12 and adapters I have the option to shoot both 35mm film and 120 film with one camera. I'm going to sell the Mk. II.

Do you have any of your photos posted anywhere that you took with the Mk. II?

No, I don't. But there are plenty of pictures on Flickr for example.
