OMPC screen questions

I've read in a couple of places that the screen from the OMPC is a type 2 or brightscreen with no tabs. And that it can be removed from the OMPC and placed in a OM1/OM2 instead of paying for an expensive type 2 sceen.
If anyone knows if this is true or has done this before, I would really appreciate your feedback.

I have used an OM-PC in the past and noticed no difference from my old OM-2S Program.
I have an OM-3Ti with a 2-13 screen, and there is a noticeable difference from an OM-4T with a 1-13 screen.
