OMG. An 11x14 enlarger

At my junior high we got to use a 4x5 Royal mounted on a special stand. We used Ortho film to copy our foolish pictures taken with an old twin lens reflex. We were in junior high so the pictures were foolish. I remember you had to expose the Ortho film to Amber light for one minute. I have no idea why. Then the copy negative was placed on an aluminum photo offset printing plate and exposed. Voila, foolish pictures in the school newspaper.

I really think this is what kindled my interest in photography.

Like Bob, I don't find using my 8x10 DeVere 5108 any more difficult than my 4x5 LPL's. I actually use the big enlarger all the way down to 35 mm!
