I've been the proud owner of an Omega D enlarger with a Super Chromega D color head for about a year. The cooling fan has been quite noisy and the source of more vibration than I like since I purchased it. I've found a nice replacement but am unsure of the correct direction of airflow. I know which direction the flow is currently but can't be sure that it is correct, since it could have been replaced before I got it. Currently the fan pulls air out; that is to say it pulls the air in through the top of the head and blows it out the bottom. This pulls the hot air over the fan blades.

Can anyone advise the correct airflow direction?

Thanks

See if you can determine why your current fan is making noise.

I have a Beseler 45s head, and the fan began to rattle. I forget the exact reason now, but as I recall, over the years, the fan had shifted in its mounts, or something. Anyway, it was a simple fix.
