Omega enlarger parts

Thank you for the links. I'd love to save it but hard to justify paying a whole lot given the current average used resale value on craigslist/ebay. Was mostly hoping an individual out there might have a spare they are parting out.

Where are you located, Ed? I have one in storage but not interested in either parting it out or shipping. If we are in the same locality we can certainly work a sweet deal.

I'm in Mississippi. I actually already have a good D2, so don't really need another. I just occasionally pick up enlargers and related equipment, try to clean them up a bit, and pass them along to students and others interested in learning about developing film and setting up an old school darkroom. The guy wants 60 bucks for this one--might take a little less. But there are complete ones out there for around $100 (so unless I could locate the missing lever inexpensively I'm afraid it wouldn't make too much sense to buy it).

Too bad we are so far away from each other.

I'd pick it up anyway it has the DV conversion on it, and if the DV unit doesn't have the third condenser I do have a spare.

Did you find a lift arm for the Omega? I found one in my junk! It's a weird one tho, the arm is one the right side, not the left.

Matt, care to venture a guess what OP's term "lift lever/handle" refers to? It's kinda hard to imagination a part that's NOT there in his photo.

All the D2, D3, D5 I've ever seen, except for one, have the lift arm (or lever) the thingy with the red knob that you pull forward to lift the head on the left side, and the crank on the right side. And, yes, the one in the KHB photo. Since I'm right handed that works very well for me to have the lift on the left side. It may be that some were "flopped" after the color heads came out. But even my D5 with the Multigrade 600 head has the lever on the left side.

I was referring to you and darkroommike. But now that I put my glasses on, I think I see that lift arm in the KHB photo/illustration. It isn't the clearest illustration.
I too have never seen one with the lift arm on that side.
I'm left handed, and wish my D6 had the focus and elevation control on the left. I could put up with the lift arm on the right.
