For Trade Omega Darkroom timer

I have an Omega darkroom timer that works well, but I am looking for a new timer. I’ve got pretty bad vision, and the numbers on this unit aren’t super big, which has lead to some unfortunate mistakes resulting in incorrect exposure.

Basically looking for a timer that’s easy to use, has large numbers (preferably at least 1 inch or 2 cm high), and accepts a grounded plug. Some examples that I can think of might be those timers that look like big clocks (Greylab and some time-o-lites), or timers that show the selection with LEDs.

Figured I would see if anyone here wants this timer. Might seem like kind of a silly trade, going from a digital timer to a mechanical one, but it would almost certainly help me out in the darkroom.

I don't have anything to trade, but have you considered something like the RH Designs Timer 3? It's not inexpensive, but seems to meet your criteria of having large(ish) numbers and being easy to use. I think it has a pretty clever user interface that only requires a single button to access all of the timer's features, which might eliminate the need for you to read small button labels in the darkroom (it supports the use of a footswitch as well).

No affiliation with RH Designs, although I have an Analyzer Pro and think it's great.

If you are still looking for a timer, and still have your digitaI I suggest you have a talk with a machinist supply shop or three and see about getting a large characters digital red LED panel display, like those that are popular on digitally controlled Mills and Lathes and some self-installed stand drills, etc.

It should be a dead simple conversion or incorporation and a theatrical gel or two from https://barbizon.com/ should knock down any over bright red light from fogging any papers.

I just listed a Gralab 450 digital timer. Unfortunately, I'm not interested in a trade.

The traditional large clock face gralabs are a little fiddley for enlarging (IMHO) because you have to reset the time at each exposure. The time-o-lites keep the time setting, but are small, however they are easy to operate without looking at them, leastwise at 15 second intervals.

It all depends what ones you have. My Time-o-Lite is exactly as you describe the Gralab - and I have a Gralab that will retain the time setting (up to 60 seconds). There are many many timers out there.
