Omega D5500 CLS Dichroic Troubleshooting (Great Sadness, Need Help)

My fellow darkroom enthusiasts I come to you in a time of need. After moving and getting set up my long dependable (maybe not so dependable) enlarger has a problem. I turn it on, the lamp comes up but nothing is displayed on the controller unit. The keys work and it takes commands just fine but the led display doesn't illuminate.

The cable connecting the lamp house has definitely seen better days... but I don't SEE anything broken. I have thought about testing the pins but thats a HUGE pita.

Any ideas or experience with something like this? I can't call Omega support.
