Any idea if this size will be to long for a regular room? I just realize this XL version of the Omega D2 may be to long for an apartment room. Any experience with this size enlarger?
 
Should fit in any room. The table height required will be determined by the ceiling heigh. How high is the ceiling? The D5-XL Chassis is a 54", the D2-XL may be similar.

I recently purchased an Omega D6, which is essentially the same as an older D5-XL. From bottom of the base board to top of the column it is 4' 10" or about 145 cm. I have it on a strong cart, with castors, because I have to be able to roll it from my storage area to my bathroom/darkroom through a standard door. This means that the cart cannot be more than 21" or 52 cm in height.

I expect that the D2V XL is somewhat similar in size.
