I've got a donated d4 and d2 enlargers, d4 has color stabilized Chromega D lamphouse, so I am looking for a standard D2 condenser head, as I have plans to convert it to LED, looking to trade or buy please let me know what you have.

I know I had a spare condenser lamp housing for the D2 at one time, I may still have it. I’m pretty sure I have an omegalite head as well.

...but, I agree with pieter12 that the full lamp housing may not be necessary- depending on how you plan to convert to LED. You might only need the transition piece.

Anyway, I’ll look though the room of requirement when I get home and see what I can find.

Hi, I just happen to have a D2 Condenser Head (without condensers) that you can have for the price of shipping. When I picked up my D2 a long time ago, the seller threw in everything but the kitchen sink. No only did she give me about a dozen different carriers, but she had a spare condenser head. It does not have a corded wall plug, but it's just a standard lamp cord, with a switch.

thank you all for the suggestions, I know that for the LED light source one does not really need a condenser, just light source wide enough to cover the 4x5 negative with uniform light output which current 3W LEDs are capable of, however I wanted it to look a bit authentic, and reuse the lamp housing since it is metal and will serve as a good heat sink, plus it will mount to the existing hardware without any adjustments.
