I just picked up a d-5 that i'd like to use with my color head from my d-2. I use a 135mm rodagon on a cone for the d-2. The d-5 has a slot for approx. 3.5" square lens boards. What do i need to mount the 135mm on the d-5? Are there cones made for this enlarger or do i need some type of stacked lens board to clear the rear lens element when sliding the lens in?

On my D-5 I have the Componon S 150 that fits a flat plate and is held firm by the jam nut. The flat plate is then mounted to a revolving unit that will accept 2 additional lenses. Yes, you will need a lens board bo fix to the shoe that slides into the mount. Just which board I don't know.

You could try KHB in Canada who sell a lot of Chromega equipment. The D-5XL listing is:

The site is not well layed out and you might have to hunt through it to find what you want.

You mount the lens on an oval plate and that either goes on the 3 lens turret or there is a single lens mounting plate at attaches in the same place.

Two versions of the turret exist that are visually almost identical, but they are interchangeable. Be careful.

No cones are necessary as the bellows can be made very long. See the swing lock on the scale where the lens is mounted.
