I had a Durst M605 - great bit of kit. Can't comment on the Omega

I'd make my decision based on:

1) What accessories I have in hand;
2) The availability of accessories and replacement parts; and
3) The ergonomics.

Which one do you prefer?

I completely agree with Matt. The durst is probably nicer to use, no doubt. Sturdier, sexier. Omega parts are plentiful on the used market, especially here in the US. If the Durst is in good shape and complete with everything you need I would get rid of the Omega.

I used the Omega B-22 and B-22XL for years and really liked them. Accessories were readily available in the USA. Two disadvantages: the little lamp housing can get hot during long exposures. Sometimes I'd have to wait until the negative popped, and then refocus and start the exposure. Also, there are several adjustments that let one precisely align the enlarger, but they can also get out of adjustment.
