Hi guys!

Recently I made a (very rare, nowadays) good deal on a sweet little camera, found at a flea market. Just 10€ for an almost mint Olympus XA4 with A-11 flash. Didn't know it was the less produced of XA series and sought after from collectors. The camera works flawlessy and you can see the results on MY FILM BLOG

I saw one in a charity shop for £10 a couple of years ago and was having a bit of a money crisis at the time and didn't buy it to my eternal regret.
Never mind I've still got 2 regular XAs and an XA2 I got the other day for £2

I see it also came with the original lanyard. This doubled as a measure for the close focus/macro; it can be set to 1 foot or ~1-1/2 foot. All the XA's are great little cameras. I find 28mm to be an interesting focal length. It takes a practiced eye, but with the right composition it will produce wonderful images.

If that flash still works you really scored a prize. I must have a half dozen or so XA flashes of various types sitting around and none of them still work. Given that they spoil the sleek, pocketable envelope of the camera (and I'm a natural light shooter, anyway) I've never had much impetus to dig in to them.

My current gallery posts are all from a used orig. XA. Focusing spot isn't the most crisp, but I do love it & it goes with me alot. If the images aren't excellent, I'm the issue. 'Last roll I noticed a little irregular frame spacing, but it hasn't been a prob. yet. 'Hope you enjoy yours.
