Clean, but not pristine...lens clear, viewer clear, shutter clean with no evident wear. Clamshell is smooth and tight, door seal is sticky but the camera is light tight--my last roll was exposed about week ago with no problem (ps: most every XA on eBay will need seals, but they won't tell you). Working battery in camera (one AA), and meter works just fine. Cosmetics are really good, with a two tiny spots on the back, a few light slide-marks from the clamshell, and small signs of use on the coin-operated battery cover.
The flash is also fairly clean, and only minutes ago I cycled it a few times. The flash will ship with no battery (I used a re-chargeable). The head of the screw that secures the flash to the body has a crack, but works.
Comes with the presentation box, both instructions, and the outer box which still has the $250.00 price sticker!
Reason for sale: just had my Rollei 35s CLA'd and shutter rebuilt (thank you Harry Fleenor)...so the XA isn't needed as my walk-around.
