I’m looking for a replacement Olympus Pen Wide. Looking for one in either excellent mostly unused condition or one that has been professionally mechanically overhauled and CLAd. All shutter times along with all mechanical function should be excellent. Glass should be clean and clear of defects. If you have one available, please send me a message with photos, a picture of the service documentation, and asking price.

These are easy to get in excellent condition -- despite the fact they they were only made for two years, so not that many were made. There are usually 10-20 on EBAY all the time -- starting at around $300.

And, by the way, it's the Pen W.

Good luck.

Easier said than actually done. The ones sold on eBay are almost exclusively sold out of the Japanese market with considerable price gouging. Most of their descriptions are also highly inaccurate i.e. claiming cameras are EX+ or Mint all the while cosmetically very worn and often with haze or mold in the glass. Most of these sellers seem to just reuse the same descriptions regardless of the actual condition of what’s being sold. Even the one I have, which was purchased on eBay was claimed to have been CLA’d and obviously wasn’t (no light seals etc) so I’m dealing with a return around that. All this just to say that eBay is a crapshoot and I’d prefer to get one in actual true known condition from an actual user here who is more inclined to be honest.

On further examination, the Pen W was only produced for nine months -- late '64 to May '65. Only about 21,000 were made, so like I said, Good Luck!
