A friend is asking me about an Olympus Pen FT half frame camera that she has. She's got a 35 mm lens and a 70 mm lens for it. Evidently in good condition, although I have not to seen it. I know nothing about these cameras. Does anyone have an inkling as to whether or not this is worth trying top sell?

Yea half frame popularity is kinda spiking now. The pen half frame you got there is one of the best ones made for that format. It's worth a bit but not that much, but your better off taking some pictures with it.

Worth about $250-$300 if clean and working.

Beautiful little cameras with gems for lenses.

Search eBay completed listing to get a good idea of the value of your items. It's not going to put anyone through college but the Pen F stuff is fairly popular and worth the same or more then a lot of the old Nikon and Canon film gear.

Assuming the 38mm you mention is the standard f1.8, and the meter is working and everything is clean and looks good, the combo could fetch 200 bucks. The 70mm could go for $200 or more, depending on condition.

But I'd also recommend using it. It is one of the sweetest little machines ever made.
