Here I am selling a very nice Olympus 35mm f/2.0 lens - I’m asking $215.00 (see below)

The lens: Olympus Zuiko 35mm f/2.0 lens

This comes with an OEM back cap, a generic 55mm lens cap and a generic and well used 55mm skylight filter (for protection).

The lens is in good shape. It is one of two that I bought used and have used extensively.

There are surface marks (and dust) on the body that indicate that the lens has been used, but the aperture is snappy, there is no sign of oil on the leaves.

As for the glass, it looks good. The front element is highly convex and if I really strain I can glimpse what might be some small and slight cleaning marks. I can also see one small speck of internal dust.

I really like this lens and wouldn’t be selling it if I didn’t have another equally good copy. I consider a fast 35mm lens to be an ideal standard lens.

I would like $215.00 for this - either Canadian or US dollars (your choice). I won’t refuse to consider reasonable offers, but note that KEH is asking for $254.00 for a copy in “bargain” condition.

Shipping will be at the buyer’s cost.

The Fine Print:

Payment: Paypal only please. No “gift” option - I will absorb the cost. I’ll also pay 3% to APUG.

Shipping: I will ship via Canada Post from V4K 2Z9, but must insist on a trackable shipping mode. I will gladly ship internationally, but will only put accurate values and descriptions on the customs forms.

All items sold AS-IS. FWIW, I have a few sales here on APUG with apparently positive results, and 100% positive feedback on ebay as mlkingeb (so far, buying only).

Photos to follow. Thanks everyone for looking.

This is a great lens. Sharp and very contrasty. Great for color film, especially indoors where a 50mm can be too wide.

By the way Matt, that is a remarkable picture. I discussed it with a vendor at a local anime convention my teenager dragged me to last weekend. The vendor was painting patina on a model oil tank and it reminded me how your tank in the wild was taken over by nature.

Thanks for the kind comment Bill.

Interestingly enough, it's not just nature that took over. There is a complex interaction between nature, the "taggers" and the park staff who have painted over the graffitti - over many, many years.
