Olympus OM-2 advance lever arm problem

Hi, I have an Olympus OM-2, in good condition and was working fine until today. The advance lever arm isn’t working anymore. There is no friction or tension when I try to advance it forward, almost as if it’s no longer connected to the machinery underneath. Battery is fine and my film roll shouldn’t be done yet. I took my film roll out and can advance it manually and the shutter will release and allow me to “take a pic” but does not work with the lever. Does anyone have an idea of what’s wrong or how to fix it?

Hi, the advance film mechanism is the Achille's heel of Olympus OM system.
My OM2-SP had the same issue and I've found useful the video here linked to fix my camera
