looks like an Abrahamsson Mini. I use the same (even the same color) on my M8. Not sure if it gives a stop at all, but it is nicer in use.

This is the Abrahamsson Mini. I bought it at http://www.popflash.com/. Perfect size for my Oly OM-1, Yashica Lynx 14E and Fuji X100.

I would say it gives you one stop with practice.
