I picked up a nice Olympus ft. Everything works. But the film advance is stiff. I'm not familiar with this camera. Is it normal to be stiff?

If not, is this an easy lube job? Bottom or top?

It's stiff. Not grind-y, but stiff. Every FT I've handled is like that. Takes some getting used to.

In my experience it's been kind of gear-y, but not very stiff. And the FT's advance is only one stroke (the F is two) - if it needs more than one stroke then it should probably be repaired.
