I was given this camera and would like to use it. Has the typical sticky shutter blade problem. The aperture/shutter blade housing only comes out so far and appears to be held by shutter activation arm. Found online info(kyphoto) that suggests "wiggling" it ... and you may get lucky. But no such luck. Anyone no how to remove it? Thanks.

You might not have to remove the aperture blades. I would (patiently) remove the lens elements, front and rear. Then, carefully apply some lighter fluid to a soft, clean cloth and gently rub the oiled areas, front and rear, as you move the aperture in order to cover all areas You might have to do this a dozen times because each time you remove only a tiny portion. - David Lyga

Thanks David. Will give that a shot. Hope I can remove the rear element. The front lens was difficult to remove as it had adhesive on the threads. I had to heat it up a bit with blow drier and was able to free it. Nice little rangefinder.
