Glass: Clean and clear, no scratches, fungus or haze.
Aperture: Snappy, no signs of wear that I can see.
Focus/Zoom: Both nice and smooth. Just like the day I bought it.
AF: Very fast and accurate. Olympus may not be able to AF tracking but boy can they do single point AF (especially on my E-3).
Cosmetics: Used but not abused. A few scratches on the rubber of the zoom ring, some dust I didn’t clean very well and probably some very small scratches on the finish that you could find if you looked hard enough.
Accessories: Lens hood, front and rear caps (front cap shows some paint loss on the Olympus logo) and the standard Olympus lens pouch.

AF: Fast an accurate. This lens is a legend for a reason.
Cosmetics: Used but not abused. A few scratches on the rubber of the zoom ring and probably some very small scratches on the finish that you could find if you looked hard enough. Overall it’s in pretty good condition though (the lens hood has more scratches and paint loss but it’s done it’s job protecting the body when reversed).
Accessories: Lens hood (user condition), front and rear caps, Hoya UV filter.

AF: Fast and accurate on my E-3
Cosmetics: I don’t think this thing has ever been used. I’m sure if you look close enough you’ll find some flaws but the hood even comes with the original plastic that it was wrapped in.
