Opening my darkroom back up after a 12+ year hiatus I found boxes of chemicals.

I have 3 bottles of Benzotriazole, a box of Fixer, a box of Paper Developer and a box of Hypo. The boxes contain 6 packages of chemicals.

Pitch some or all? Any worth trying to use?

I assume the Benzotriazole does not go bad in a sealed bottle.

Thoughts?

You can mix up one batch of each and test with a roll of walk around film to see if still good. I have used 60to 70 years old Anso and GAF chemistry, some were obviously bad as the white powered turned brown, others mixed up quite well. .

Well one of the two components of teh paper developer is tan/brown and I assumed bad. Everything else is light in color.

I'd guess the paper dev is bad, and that the rest are good. Fixer is easy to test using the film-leader test. Paper dev is also easy to test, assuming you have some paper lying around.

One of Fred's developers came with one large bag and one smaller one. Was that the paper developer? If so, maybe you can find, or someone here remembers, what was in the small bag.
