I need spectral transmission / optical density data on some Wrattens discontinued several decades ago, like Wratten ## 34, 49, 55, 57, 65 and some other ones. The KODAK PHOTOGRAPHIC FILTERS HANDBOOK, publication B-3, cited here:

http://web.archive.org/web/20020426165710/http://www.geocities.com/thombell/curves.html
http://www.mat.uc.pt/~rps/photos/other-filters.html

- does not mention those. So, my questions are: -

(1) What publications do include that data? Where could I buy or download them?
(2) Could anybody please post at least the Wratten 34 (the one I'm intrested in most of all) filter spectral optical density (or transmission) data here?

Thanks!

I have the B3 book and all the filters you mention ae listed along with characteristics. Mine was published in 1973. I do not have a scanner so cannot copy the page for the 34 filter. On the transmittance graph; .1% 200 - 320Nm and 490 - 640. at 420Nm transmittance is about 72%. Over 680 greater than 65%. Hope this helps.

Many thanks Richard; that really helps! So 1973 is the key date... now I'm almost sure I'll be able to purchase the book somewhere! And the transmittance numbers you've posted are a great help, too.
