I do not post my photographs on line after one of my photographs which I had posted on APUG was copied many times and sent all over the internet.

what was the last thing over 50 years old you used ?
-Today I took my Rolleiflex K4A, mfg about 1952, for trip to to Bow Lake in Banff National Park. The Camera is about 63 years old, not bad, eh?

-I'm checking the time, right now, (it reads exactly 21:32 hrs.) from an elderly CDIA aircraft clock, which is over 70 years old.

-Beside me is a Hallicrafters SX-28A, about mfg about 1945, 70 years old. I'll use it later this evening if propagation is OK.

-The ancient thermometer on our deck reads +43 degrees F. It is at least 100 years old.

-My barometer, a nice old German thing, reads 30.2 inches of mercury and is rising!!. ( indicating that tomorrow may be another nice day.) It's about 60 years old.

-My Nikon F2 Photomic, which is 44 years old, is just a newfangled goo gaw, and not worth this sentence, but I used it today as well.

Ahhhhhh,, SX-28. Mine developed a serious 60. Cycle hum several decades ago and now sits idle in storage, awaiting the day when I might have time to deal with it. I miss that old boat anchor.

Sounds like the electrolytic capacitor(s) in the power supply have dried out and are no longer filtering. Easy and inexpensive to replace.

I used my Sands & Hunter Exhibition Camera (5x4) the other day. Circa 1882/1883. That's just a bit over fifty years. A picture is mandatory, naturally.
