Several years ago, I got into a GAS frenzy acquiring heads and other accessories for a Photogenic AA-01-03 power pack. The stable includes four AA12 heads, reflectors, diffusion screens, barn doors, snoots, and a couple 9562-21 backlight pans. All of this was used for architectural interiors, and worked well.

I am now thinking about doing a little experimentation with BW portraiture. Who amongst us has some experience with these lights? What can be expected in general compared to newer systems? I have speedrings for mounting Photoflex softboxes also, just no softboxes...

I've owned Photogenics for 30 years. Although not those particular ones.

If you've got speedrings and reflectors that's all you need. Get a flashmeter and go to it.

This is their website http://www.photogenicpro.com/

If you have specific question ask or PM me.
