What kind of results would you expect from full bottles of mixed 7 month old RA-4 chemicals that probably froze and thawed last winter when I left my house unheated?

(It's a trick question; I already tried it but I'm curious what I should have expected).

Just kidding, I don't have a clue. But since you posed the question, I assume it came out good.

I've had 6 - 8 month old RA4 give me perfect results. Freezing and thawing should have no effect unless some of the chemistry crystallizes and you don't get it back into solution properly.

At 7-months it should work great. I do have a batch of developer that is failing but I'm at 2-years. I'll be mixing fresh in the morning.

I forgot to mention it also had crystals that I could not get back into solution even after heating. I was expecting very poor results because searching here led me to believe it is short lived. I only did a test strip and one print, which came out maybe +10 magenta in white tree trunks but I could not see any magenta in the green vegetation (not saying it isn't there). I will print again tomorrow, deal with the magenta and find out if it's perfectly good or not. But I was very pleasantly surprised after the dire warnings I read, especially since I wanted to print and I don't have any fresh chemicals.
