I too have some Asiago d'allevo from the same era, but I would never put it in the fridge or deep feeze; they are reserved for film (and a few types of paper)

That's not old. I found a roll of Kodachrome 25 that has a develop by date of 1953 on it. I also have some 8 mm Kodachrome, but don't recall what the date on it is.

Yes, but how old is your cheese? (I've got some ancient fish sticks in the freezer too, but I think they've gone a little... um... magenta, if you know what I mean. :rolleyes: )

If Kodak Canada is doing the shipping to Dwaynes you should be fine on the pre paid processing. Out here London Drugs calls me when my film comes in, and the usual turnaround is 3-4 weeks. Once it was up to 6 weeks, but that was over Christmas.

I got a call from the lab yesterday. My Kodachrome is in, processing included. They're going to run some prints and I'll be able to pick them up tomorrow. (their lead tech does most of my prints.) That's 19 business days from when I dropped it off. To be fair to Dwayne's, I don't think the local lab has sends film out more than a couple of days a week. I'll be able to comment on the quality of the prints tomorrow.

I just re-found my still sealed box of Kodachrome 4x5, expiration date October 1944! It is absolute torture to have a box of pure heaven with no way to use it.
