Old Lumix FZ20 _ Histogram _ Dynamic Range _ Spot Meter _ Zone System

I bought a lumix fz20 with leitz vario elmarit 36-420mm range camera from keh.

I will only take TIFF photographs.

• Does camera have a histogram ?
• Will the histogram of GIMP Software show same histogram as I was taking the picture on TIFF.
• What is the dynamic range of the camera ?
• I want to put logarithmic dots which shows the zones on the viewfinder, is it a good idea ?
• Does the camera have a spot meter ?

having moved to digital 2+ years ago, (after 35 years in film, and not really my choice), i foolishly tried to apply "my film thinking" in the digital world, including "expose for the shadows... " in your other digital related thread.

Best advice I wish I listened to was was forget what you know, take a digital classes, (online or in-person), and read. As a result I have happily transitioned and been FAR more productive and satisfied! I am pleased I was forced to by circumstances to make the shift.
