I am doing research to establish certain film stock types in use between 1950 and 1963 from camera logs of atomic testing. One stock I have not been able to identify is referenced as "ID-2" and "ultrafast" starting in 1954. It replaced a stock known as "HRHS" which was in use from 1951. All Kodak and Dupont stocks have been identified. I'm wondering if ID-2 might be an Ilford stock and the same or similar to Ilford's "HPS" which also came out around 1954 and was also called ultrafast? Does anyone know where to get a data sheet for this HPS Ilford stock?

Also looking for Kodak Royal Pan and Royal-X Pan film data sheets with H&D curve.

Pete

ID-2 is an Iford MQ developer for films and plates, and Ultrafast may have been a special high speed developer as well. It's highly unlikely that Ilford would use the same designation for a film and developer as ID means Ilford Developer 2 in their naming system.

In 1954 the recommended developer for HPS was ID-2, and for maximum processing speed Contrast FF a new PQ developer

I should have the Kodak data book with the H&D curves as I bought a mint set of Kodak books recently in their original boxes from the US.
