I have an old Optar 135 mm lens for my Crown Graphic. The shutter on it has this slide lever that I am guessing adjusts the flash sync. I have seen other (perhaps newer) versions of this lens that have the same slide lever but they have an actual X position for strobe. This one does not. My question: What position (if any) do I need to put the lever in to have strobe sync?
My GUESS is that it should be on the "O" which would indicate zero delay or X synch. The "5" I would ASS u ME to be a 5 millisecond delay for the old fast-peak flash bulbs. I may be wrong, but if you tell us what shutter it is, I could lukitup.
I don't know what else to say about the shutter. It is marked as a "Graflex" and it is a copal 0 and it has a 135 mm Optar lens. I don't see any other markings on it.
