I found a big roll of old Fluoroscopy film on eBay, and I was wondering if it’s something that might be worth getting? I can’t find much info on it at all.

Film is just called “PFC Film for photo fluoroscopy”, and the emulsion code is 2541. Expired in ’78.

Has anyone shot anything similar? Is it worth even considering?

1978? No, wouldn't touch it.

I mean… I got some 640 ISO RS-Pan that expired 1964 that somehow works at ISO 50…

Actually, thinking about this now, this seems like an extreme idea. I also had another opportunity come up that will probably work out better.

You didn't say what your intended use was. Sheet film usage as in 4x5 or 8x10?. May I suggest Fuji HRT or HRU green x ray film, sold new? Quite reasonably priced and works amazingly well for general purpose photography.

It’s a 70mm roll, so I’d be interested in just using it as 70mm. Though I found a few large rolls of microfilm online that I might be able slit down, that seem to work reasonably well according to a friend that’s tested a roll from this same batch. Much less of a gamble.

There is some info on the Foma version of this film, which they state is high sensitivity. So, that could be an indicator that the stuff you found was also high sensitivity and has now gained a high level of fog (in 50 years).
