Have been away from film for a few years. Back in it and discovered I own several bags of Xtol dry powder for 5 liter solution
mixing.
Any change in developing times or such due to age? I could not imagine it would, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Welcome back to film!
There's one way to find out...right?

XTOL is cheap. Most people don't realize it but cost per roll, it's comparable to HC-110. Don't know if I'd chance it.

What are the dates on it? Or how long ago were they purchased?

It should be fine in a sealed bag.

If the bag is sealed and intact it should not be a problem. I have used bags that are over five years old.

I'm guilty of having far too much inventory and less analog activity than in my past. This has me using quite old packages of Xtol (my primary soups are other things) but I've never had a problem. A test roll would be prudent, though!

Some films may have changed, so a test roll would be in order.
