I have found a few old disc negatives, the ones that are circular, and was wondering if anyone even prints off of these any more. The quality may not be very good, but there may be old family members pictures on them. Some of them seem to be better negatives than the old 110 negatives that I have found.

Image is about the size of Minox. Use a glass carrier with a mask.

I have no enlarger, only a scanner, which I might try. I might even try a macro lens, but it's hard to convert color negatives to color positives that way.

I'm scanning it on my Epson V600 now. The preview looks fairly decent and have hit the scan button. I wouldn't have thought to use the scanner. Thanks

These are two of the better ones that I scanned. The color is not very good and the images have to be rotated and cropped in post processing so I'm being very selective of which ones I am doing. Thanks for the help.

did you cut the film off the center disk ? or does that plastic center piece remove somehow? Not sure how one would get the film flat on the scanner otherwise...

I just laid the disc on the glass in a 120 negative holder, but it also worked without the negative holder. I don't think that the V600 is subject to the focus problems of the higher models. It seems to be fairly forgiving of the negative heights

The Epson V600 scanner will give only about 2000dpi of resolution at best. This means 78 pixels /mm. So a 8x10mm disc film frame, that's about 624x780px of real resolution; and that's even pushing it.

I'll admit that they are not very good, but they are better than not having the pictures at all.

That's more than the old analog NTSC TV sets had.
