old developer problems

Just wondering. What sort of trouble would you expect from developer that has been sitting too long? Muddied shadows? Dullness? Graininess?

Severe under development, even blank negatives. If in doubt clip test.

I'd expect you to waste the film. Don't do it.

However, this assumes you really have left it too long. If you're not sure if that's the case, you can do a test with an unimportant piece of film (a film leader, e.g.).
