Speed Graphics are in many old B&W Movies, and movies trying to portray that era. Seems like a lot of work for a news photographer handling 4x5 holders and flashbulbs.

My pet peeve when they show 4x5 Graphics is they always pull the bellows out to the end of the track rather than just to the infinity stops.

"Eyes of Laura Mars" features the then brand new Nikon FM. There were F2 and Hasselblad in the movies too. Cool Minolta flash meter.

I failed in recognizing "Alfie's" camera (post #54).
It seems a SLR with additional direct viewfinder. There are not much of these anyway...

Yes, Pentacon Six TL (@58:12), but that was obvious. I found the studio lights more interesting.

Asahiflex. Early version still with WLF. Thank you.
I was completely unaware of this model and thus thought in a complete different direction (european make).

How about "The Philadelphia Story" (1940?) with Jimmy Stewart, Kate Hepburn, & Cary Grant. An early Argus C2 or C3 is the scene stealer for me.
Then there is the relatively modern "The Public Eye", with Joe Pesci, various cameras from the 1940's.
Then there was "Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow" (I think) with a modified Argus C3 in it.
And, one of the Harry Potter movies, also with an Argus C3, a Matchmatic, I think.

Everlasting Moments-
"Sweden, early 1900s. In a time of social change and unrest, war and poverty, a young working class woman, Maria, wins a camera in a lottery. The decision to keep it alters her whole life. The camera grants Maria new eyes with which to see the world, and brings the charming photographer "Piff Paff Puff" into her life."
Beautifully photographed.

Me too. It didn't look right to be a Praktina though. That Asahiflex is a pretty rare camera.
