Greetings all,
I came across this old rangefinder attachment in an antique shop the other day. I was wondering if anyone out there can identify it for me. There is no marking other than "Germany" stamped on the adjustment wheel, and as you can see, the shoe mount direction doesn't make sense (to me). If anyone can tell me what camera this was used with I would appreciate it...
Thanks,
Jim

Welta, Franka or Balda would be my guesses. Probably made for their non-RF folders.

The solution is finding a camera with a sideways mount male attachment. The assembly looks rather crude in design with end caps held on by relatively large screws. Probably dates from the early 20's-30's.
