i dont have a slide scanner, so im currently projecting slides with a kodak projector and a Dslr.
I was wondering, since the original image is analog, is it ok?
remember, people with slide scanners are doing something simalar.

However you digitize your work to get it into the gallery, I think, is fine. Some people also take digital photographs of their prints that are too large to scan for the gallery.

You'll probably get a better result, though, if you have a macro lens or extension tubes for your DSLR, and photograph the slide using a tripod or copy stand and a light box.

If you have to photograph a projected image, then project small on a white sheet of paper and try to get the camera lens axis as close to the axis of the projector lens as you can.

Depending on the camera you have, you might be able to pick up a used slide duper and making images that way, I have one and it works great, for copying slides to digitize them, of course most of the time I use my scanner..

Just say a Hail Mary before you upload each one. You will be forgiven.

Best to mention it is a digipic of a projected slide in the picture info section when you upload it if you do that or someone will read the EXIF embedded image info and draw unfortunate conclusions...

Cheers, Bob.
