This will be our 6th.
It takes place February 1, 2 and 3.
Yet one more opportunity to meet of bunch of like minded photographers,
learn from one another, go shooting together in one of the truly great places in the Western United States, look at prints, have tons of fun, and hopefully go home - fully charged - full of new ideas about how to "develop" your own photography further.

In short: photography, fun, food, frolic, friendship!

Per,
Thank you for putting this workshop together and providing a wonderful experience.
I plan on attending and this will be my 3rd year. Each year is great fun and it is a pleasure to meet fellow photographers.

Where do most of you stay there? Anyone camp or take an RV trailer or do you just stay in motels? What camping is out there? Jim, camping in your truck this time out?

I'll be there at least for one day. I've got to schedule things around visitors coming to our house that weekend. However, camping out like last year is not on my to do list - I may do the motel route. I'm getting too old for below freezing night time temperatures.

Most of us camp, some do the hotel (about 15 minutes from the jumbo rocks campground).
Yeah, it gets cold..and hot...then cold, then windy..

Jumbo Rocks has a lot of sites, which we more or less take over. Some bring campers, trailers, motor homes and tents.

Curt, I have a new 4 seasons tent and it withstood a windstorm and mild blizzard in Lee Vining canyon so Joshua Tree should be no problem. Also, no bears to deal with! It is nice to be in the thick of things and not far from my bed when the discussions are over. See you there.

Thanks for participating...

...sorry for the Sunday windstorm. Not part of the plan!
Guess there will just have to be free cameras for everyone next time?
